Shimanto Reza translates Dutch and Flemish literature into English. His translations support authors including Libris Prize winner Safae el Khannoussi and Sholeh Rezazadeh and are commissioned by major UK and US publishers, as well as by the Dutch Foundation for Literature and Flanders Literature.

He serves as Managing Editor at World Editions and works independently with authors and publishers as an editor.

He also writes fiction, essays, and poetry in Dutch and English, and is developing creative writing workshops informed by relational practice.
